Satheesha B.

Satheesha B is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Sustainable Employment, Azim Premji University. His on-going PhD work attempts to understand the factors which influence rural employment diversification in India. Further, it tries to answer how changes in employment are associated with the broader process of structural transformation of the Indian economy. As a part of his doctoral research he has conducted field survey in southern Karnataka to understand the micro-level dynamism of the rural labour market. He has completed MPhil in Applied Economics from Centre for Development Studies (CDS), Trivandrum. His research interests include labour, agriculture, development and inequality.
